Founded in 1962, Allied Boat Company located in Catskill, New York, was a small sailboat builder of fiberglass vessels. The company’s first vessel, APOGEE, was the first boat built of fiberglass to ever circumnavigate the world in 1968 and the company later worked alongside renowned naval architects such as Sparkman & Stephens among others. Although the company went out of business in 1981, there are still many Allied Boat Company vessels available on the water today.
